The living area’s L-shaped sofa perfectly complements the traditional ornaments and high vaulted ceilings, creating a bright and spacious atmosphere great for relaxing with friends and sharing a few drinks before heading out to Seminyak for dinner. The living area is fully air conditioned, but you can open the bi-fold doors and enjoy the warm Balinese afternoon sun while watching the kids play in the pool. There’s also a flat-screen TV if you fancy a night in catching up on your favourite movie. Upstairs there’s a gazebo area where guests can relax with a few Bintangs while watching the legendary Balinese sunset or a private nook to ctach up on some holiday reading. Next to the pool another gazeob offers guests the opportunity to have an afternoon nap away or grab a poolside Balinese massage – how amazing!
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities, including a refrigerator, microwave, stove, and electric kettle, ensuring you have everything you need to cook a meal for your friends or breakfast for the kids. With seating for up to 8 guests, the large dining table overlooks the pool, where the troop can gather and enjoy meals together with picturesque views of the pool.
Each of the modern, fully air-conditioned 3 bedrooms is spacious, featuring wooden furniture, mosquito nets, and private ensuite bathrooms with a shower, toilet, basin, and wardrobe for all your clothes. The main bedroom also boasts a large walk-in wardrobe for all your clothes and a bathtub for a relaxing soak at the end of the day. On the second floor, the third bedroom boasts a private balcony with stunning views of the villa’s garden and pool or for an early morning coffee with your partner. The sun-kissed swimming pool is a great place for the kids to spend hours having fun or for a cooling afternoon swim. Sunbeds are also provided for sunbathing or lounging, blending seamlessly with the surrounding tropical plants that just add to the Balinese ambience. There’s a BBQ area for fun nights with alfresco dining with the kids and outdoor seating, making it ideal for dinner under the stars (you can walk to Bintang supermarket nearby for all your groceries, food and alcohol).
Guests will be glad to know that the villa has English-speaking Balinese staff who will clean the villa daily and make sure it is spotless. There’s also a villa manager who can help arrange tours, activities for the kids, and advice on where to go and where to go for a meal in Seminyak.
Villa Altius is ideally situated in one of the best spots in Seminyak, near loads of cafes, shops, local vendors selling souvenirs, some of the best beach clubs, and the ultra-popular Eat Street, where you can shop, dine out, and enjoy a relaxing Balinese massage. Double Six and Seminyak Beach is just a short drive away, and famous beach clubs like KU DE TA, Potato Head and La Plancha are easily reachable within minutes.
Travelling with kids? Take them to Waterbom Bali in Kuta for a fun day out on the waterslides or perhaps a surf lesson at Double Six Beach where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner there’s burgers at BossMan or Grill’d, and after dinner there’s lots of treats at Candylicious at Seminyak Village.
Cafes & restaurants: Villa Altius is within walking distance to some of the most popular cafes and restaurants in Seminyak where you can grab a quick coffee or take the kids for a meal. Make sure you go to Cornerhouse, Doppio Pink, the popular Sisterfields, Biku (for great Indonesian food), Ling Lings, and BAKED for coffee and pastries.
Fancy Partying? Start the night off at the Champagne Bar, The Forge or The Goat for pre dinner drinks. Then it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos, tequila and lots of fun. Continue the party at Shi Shi or La Favela in the Petitenget area where you can dance till late.
