Seminyak Central & the famous Eat Street is about a 5-10 minute drive, and here you can find more fine dining and casual restaurants, chic boutiques, shops and many fabulous cafes. Nearby there are some great cafes & restaurants. Try Hog Wild (for great ribs and burgers), Livingstones (coffee & croissants), Pison, Nourish, Biku, Kynd Community (for vegan/organic food), and the popular Nook or La Lucciola.
Cafes & restaurants. You can also easily get to the trendy cafes and restaurants of Berawa, where there are loads of amazing places for the whole family to eat. Make sure you go to Da Maria for a fun night out, Bottega, Milk and Madu (with a kids playground), MamaSan and the popular Sisterfields.
Beach Clubs. Make sure you visit Atlas Beach Fest, which is only 10 minutes away by taxi, where you can enjoy dining, great beach views and lots of people-watching! Other beach clubs worth visiting are Ku De Ta, Potato Head, Cafe Del Mar, Alila and La Brisa at Echo Beach in Canggu.
Day Spas. For the girls, the whole Seminyak area has many day spas where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those dreamy Balinese massages. For the best treatments, head to Rob Peetoom, Think Pink Nails and Sundari Day Spa in Petitenget.
Shopping. Head to the shops in the chic Oberoi area, where you’ll find art galleries, homewares and jewellery shops. For more shopping options, Berawa or central Canggu’s Jalan Batu Bolong which are all nearby are great for a day’s shopping.
Supermarkets. There is also a supermarket (Popular), convenience stores, bakeries, liquor stores, and pharmacy just around the corner, so it’s easy to pop out quickly and restock your food/drink supplies.
Fancy Partying? Start the night at The Champagne Bar, The Forge or The Goat on Eat Street in Seminyak. Then, it’s off to Motel Mexicola for tacos and tequila. Continue the party at La Favela or Shi Shi, where you can dance till dawn.
Sightseeing. From the villa, you can easily explore other parts of the island. Just spent a wonderful week at Villa Ipanema. The place was spotless, spacious and high quality furnishings. The big pool was a favourite of everyone and 10 people using it wasn’t an issue. The bedrooms were clean and fresh towels everyday. The staff were amazing, Putu, Wayan and Ilah couldn’t do enough for you, everything we asked of them they would arrange, phone or just make it happen. They did it all with a smile on their friendly faces. We would definitely come back and stay here.... loved every minute of it. Thank you guys

This place was amazing very spotless and spacious. The big pool was a favourite of everyone and 10 people using it wasn’t an issue. The bedrooms were clean and fresh towels everyday. The staff were amazing, Putu, Wayan and Ilah couldn’t do enough for you, like calling for taxis and even getting drinks for us all if we needed them, stayed in one night and llah even went out to pick it up our takeaway. They did it all with a smile on their faces. We would definitely come back one day and stay again.... loved every minute of it. Thank you.

Decided to go back to Villa Ipanema in Canggu for a third visit and it was like we hadn't left !!! This area has the beach just down the lane. The villa is perfect for large families and the children just love the large pool (big kids too ) and the lounge area is perfect for just chillin with a few Bintangs and some music ( WiFi was excellent ). But without a doubt it was Putu (Butler) Wayan, Iluh ( Housekeeping) and the great security guys who make this villa what it is, there was nothing to hard for them to sort from calling a taxi to ordering our take away meals to the best tasting breakfast every morning !!! They were amazing. We will be a regular visitor to Villa Ipanema.

We just returned from a week at Villa Ipanema, and what a gem. Coming down with our two kids (aged 5 and 8), we were a bit anxious about whether everyone would be comfortable—and they suited up beautifully. The villa felt spacious and welcoming, especially with that huge private pool right in the middle. The staff were absolute legends—breakfast was ready every morning just when the kids were even vaguely coherent, and the butler and housekeeping were always quietly helpful (often before we’d even realised we needed something!). The bedrooms were pristine and roomy—those tropical bathrooms were a highlight. Location’s a winner too—only minutes to Batu Belig beach, cafes, shops, and an easy ride to Seminyak’s main strip. Stress-free, family-friendly and effortlessly beautiful. Highly recommend.

We booked Villa Ipanema with Eris at Bali Villa Escapes hoping for a relaxing Bali trip for our family—and it absolutely delivered. The kids were in heaven with that gorgeous 18-metre pool, sun loungers, and shaded bale where we all sat and chilled. Having daily breakfast served by lovely staff meant we actually ate together—a rare holiday victory! The villa layout, with ground and upstairs bedrooms, gave everyone privacy but plenty of space to meet up. Bathrooms felt serene, and the villa interiors had such a comfy, stylish vibe. Close enough to shops and fab cafes without feeling touristy—just right. A place we’d come back to in a heartbeat.
