Sira Beach House Lombok features a traditional ‘Sasak ’-style open-sided pavilion with a high soaring ‘alang alang’ thatched rooftop supported by Palimanan stone pillars and natural rock walls. The villa is furnished elegantly with beautiful antiques, custom-designed furniture and tribal artefacts. There are comfy sofas and daybeds for daytime lounging and snoozing. The centrepiece is the stunning 18-metre infinity pool, where you can swim while gazing at the horizon. There are lounge beds on the beach and on the pool deck – plenty of places to work on that tropical island tan! Kids are free to run around with the wind in their hair, and the sea is perfectly safe for swimming, as well. Bicycles, paddleboards and kayaks are available. Sira Beach House even has its own tennis court and croquet pitch. Wow!

The estate houses 6 deluxe villa suites to retreat to at night, scattered around the property in separate stand-alone pavilions. All of the bedrooms are designed in the traditional Sasak style with thatched ceilings, river rock walls, bamboo screens and wooden floors. Each bedroom is equipped with AC, and they come with satellite TVs and tropical open-air bathrooms for showering and bathing beneath the stars. The living room is soaked in natural sunlight thanks to the window walls that are, in fact, glass sliding doors giving access to the pool deck. The views of the infinity pool and the ocean are breathtaking! In the centre of the vast air-conditioned living room stands a handsome 10-seater dining table. To the right, you can relax on comfy, stylish sofas, watching movies on the large flat-screen TV with satellite channels. On the left, there is a spacious open-plan kitchen with a bar and stools.

With 3 swimming pools glistening under the tropical sky, you can imagine that much of living and lounging are done outdoors. There are comfy lounge beds and parasols to work on your tan and read a book in the shade, and there are hammocks as well for those sweet, lazy hours of

snoozing and listening to the sound of the sea. The villa also features a lawned terrace for kicking a ball, and the main pool is big enough for lap swimming.

The estate houses 7 luxurious villa suites; 5 of them are tucked in the main house (the 5-bedroom villa), and the other 2 are private-pool villas with their own plunge pool. One of the bedrooms is designed especially for kids – the 3 bunk beds can sleep up to 6 kids in one bedroom. The master room features a private wooden patio with jaw-dropping ocean views, and the room is furnished with a four-poster bed, AC, TV and a writing desk. The en-suite bathroom comes with a stand-alone bathtub. All the other bedrooms feature double or twin beds and AC, each with a private bathroom.

The outdoor setting is like a scene out of Robinson Carusoe but with a luxurious element to enjoy.
