Three rooms provide king-sized bedding with extra armchairs and large daybeds to relax in the privacy of your room. Tabanan is a regency or district of Bali along the coast past Canggu. It stretches inland with traditional Balinese villages, where you can take long walks or explore the beautiful area on bicycles or rent scooters for real fun. The majestic Sungi and its tributaries meander past the villa, where there are rice fields as far as the eye can see. Here, you will see the real Bali, with farmers ploughing the rice fields and friendly locals going about their daily lives.

One of the most popular beaches close to the villa is Echo Beach, which is great for surfing, people-watching, and casual dining options. You can take fantastic day trips from the villa to temples and sacred sites such as Besakih Temple, Mt Batur, Sekumpul Waterfalls, and Ubud and witness amazing sunsets at Tanah Lot Temple.

Cafes & restaurants. If you like taking the group out for a meal, head to Batu Bolong in Canggu. Here, you’ll find loads of fabulous cafes & restaurants. Some worth trying include Secret Spot, Monsieur Spoon, the super popular Revolver, Deus ex Machina, Kynd, Gigi Susu, Mason, Milk and Madu (family-friendly) and Crate.

Beach Clubs. For a real treat, head to The Lawn at the end of Jl Batu Bolong for a few cocktails and cold Bintangs as you watch the best sunset in Bali. Other beach clubs nearby worth visiting are Atlas or Finns in Berawa, Cafe Del Mar in Batu Belig and La Brisa on Echo Beach. There’s also the new Luna Beach Club in the Seseh/Tabanan area; perfect for a few sunset cocktails.

Shopping. There are many shopping options in Canggu’s Batu Bolong and Berawa areas where you can buy clothes. surfwear, jewellery, homewares and souvenirs. There are also Love Anchor markets where you can shop till you drop. For even more shopping, head to Seminyak’s Eat Street or Kuta’s Kartika Plaza area for the day.

Day Spas. For the ladies, there are some great day spas in Canggu where you can get your hair and nails done and have one of those sensational Balinese massages. Go to AMO, MYNX, Goldust Beauty Lounge, or Spring Day Spa.

Travelling with kids? Take them for a surf lesson at  Old Man’s Beach, where you can hire boards and instructors by the hour. For dinner, there are many restaurants in Pererenan and Canggu, like BAKED, Rize, Keen Cafe, Copenhagen, Penny Lane and Pit Stop Burgers.
